Community terms

Be yourself. Keep it kind.
Hot or Cold is a community for sharing personal style and making mutual connections. You must be at least 18 to create an account, upload a photo, or participate. Rate the look respectfully; do not use the service to harass, threaten, impersonate, or demean anyone.
What you share
Upload only photos you own or have permission to share. Everyone pictured must be 18 or older. Do not upload sexual content, nudity, violence, hate, private documents, or another person's contact information. Your approved photos, display name, username, ratings, and public profile can be visible to other visitors. Keep private information out of your photos and captions.
Reviews and community controls
Photos are automatically reviewed before publication. Reviews can make mistakes; a rejected photo does not make a judgment about you. You can report a profile or photo and block accounts. We may remove content or suspend accounts for breaking these rules. Do not manipulate ratings, create accounts to evade restrictions, or attempt to access another person's conversations.
Connections and messages
Messaging requires mutual favorites and, outside a free beta, an active messaging pass. A match is not an endorsement or a guarantee. Conversations contain messages sent by participants. Do not share someone else's messages or personal information without permission.
Accounts and payments
Keep your password private. You can manage your account and request deletion in Settings. If you purchase a messaging pass, the price and renewal details appear at checkout. Monthly passes renew until cancelled through membership management. During a free beta, messaging does not require a purchase.
Availability and changes
Features may change, and the service may be interrupted. Ratings reflect community opinions. You retain ownership of your content and give Hot or Cold permission to store, review, and display it to provide the service. This permission ends when your content is removed, subject to backups, previously shared copies, and records needed for community safety.
Read how account and content data are handled in the Privacy Policy.
